Constitution

• The EUSA has updated a new constitution template that is a requirement to be adopted by our society at an EGM or AGM. You can find a downloadable copy of the new constitution template here.
• We have skimmed through this new constitution template in this meeting. We need to divide the work amongst blocks of committee members to finalize the work on a few pointers throughout the new given template. This is to be added to the agenda for the next meeting.
• 4.6 and 4.7 - Member benefits and Public benefits can be separately defined and benefits to members can be changed to benefits to students to avoid issues for sponsors.
• 6.1.2 and 6.1.4 needs to be looked at before enforcing, potentially requires changes
• 7.4.4 needs to be modified mainly, extreme case for reflection of the committee
• 11.1.2 need an understanding of it, 11.2.3 fight EUSA, strip this point, ideally committee can always ban a member if the complaint against them is of serious nature
• SIG Handbook needs to be restricted reference 11.2.8
• Amendment in the constitution - More members in the committee in the agenda for the next meeting

STMU

• Upcoming EGM to be run with Bloomberg Bpuzzle event. They are going to confirm next week for Oct 28 if they would be there. Plans for the event to be structured and finalized. First year rep speech to be 2 mins long.
• Luc gives planning for the upcoming events until November, already shared in discord. Advertising them together is gonna be a better idea. All the events for November usually are dealing with Quant which can be an attractive idea especially for all the first years.
• JetBrains is now officially listed as a sponsor
